the lab life

hi all, i hope your all doing fine
life has been treating me just fine the last week or so

im sitting in an empty lab trying to get ahead on lab hours, its amazing how boring it can be to sit in a room and do nothing but work on projects for 6 hours.
but thats how it is, i hope to have my required 30 hours by the end of next week.

i went to a couple bible studies this week, and enjoyed them for the most part. on wednesday it was a campus crusade group from ASU.
i’ve never really noticed how incredibly unpolitically correct that name is, not that it bothers me, but really. why not just call it campus inquisition or something.
it was fun though, the worship was great and the speaker a bit lacking but i volunteered to do audio for them so i guess i’ll stick around.
the other one was a guys group on thursdays. and i really liked that one
its made up of upperclassmen from ASU and doesnt meet on campus, which is a plus
but for the first meeting we just sat and watched football and got to know each other. im not the only new guy so it was nice to have a good round of introductions.

work is going fine, i will probably be cut loose on audio this week. i’ve been doing shows since my first night there, but wasnt alone till last sunday and i did just fine. so now it just becomes a question of whether or not the guys who train me want the overtime.
school is moving along at light speed, i will finish my first semester thingy in a few weeks and will have a week off.
im going to go anywhere, but it looks like the roommates will. so i might have the apartment to my self
which will be a bit lonely but it will be awesome to have a week to do nothing

in other news im looking for a new tv. the nintendo wii comes out in a few months and i need something other than the 20” tv we have now.
the job has afforded me a little extra cash so we’ll see what i end up with, but there are some really nice options out there

    AND you should take on a new challenge i’ll give you, which is to make a myspace page not look like a myspace page (ripping through CSS code etc).
